Group Company: TRIPATRA Designation: QUALITY CONTROLLER – TANK Office Location: AREA PROJECT PHR JPK REQUIREMENTS Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Bachelor's Degree (D4) in any Engineering discipline with at least 6 years of experience, or Diploma (D3) in any Engineering discipline with at least 8 years of experience in engineering, fabrication, construction, or quality control services. Minimum 4 years of experience in Tank Quality Control Inspection for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Geothermal, Power Generation, or other industrial projects involving aboveground storage tanks. Strong knowledge of the fabrication, erection, inspection, testing, and maintenance of aboveground storage tanks , particularly in accordance with API 650 and API 653 standards. Experienced in tank fabrication inspections, dimensional checks, welding inspections, hydrostatic testing, coating inspections, and quality documentation. Familiar with applicable international codes, standards, and inspection procedures related to storage tank construction and maintenance. Holds valid API 650 and/or API 653 training or certification issued within the last 5 years by a recognized authority or professional organization. Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with Contractors, Engineering, and Construction teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform inspections and monitor the fabrication, erection, maintenance, and repair of storage tanks to ensure compliance with API 650 , API 653 , project specifications, and Company requirements. Verify tank construction activities, including fabrication, welding, dimensional inspection, hydrostatic testing, coating, and final inspection, in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Work closely with Company representatives and Construction Contractors to ensure tank fabrication, field erection, and maintenance activities meet project quality requirements. Prepare and maintain routine inspection reports, quality records, and related documentation, ensuring timely submission to the Company. Ensure Contractors perform tank construction and maintenance activities in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), project specifications, and quality requirements. Identify quality issues or non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation until closure. Coordinate with Contractors, Engineering, Construction, and QA/QC teams to support quality assurance throughout tank construction and maintenance activities. Report to and support the Lead Quality Controller in monitoring and maintaining quality compliance for tank fabrication, erection, and maintenance activities.
