About The Role

Group Company: TRIPATRA Designation: QUALITY CONTROLLER – INSTRUMENT & CONTROL Office Location: AREA PROJECT PHR JPK REQUIREMENTS Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Bachelor's Degree (D4) in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline with at least 6 years of experience, or Diploma (D3) in Engineering with at least 8 years of experience in engineering, fabrication, construction, or quality control services. Minimum 4 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Quality Control Inspection on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Civil Construction, Mining, Geothermal, or Power Generation projects. Strong knowledge of the installation, inspection, testing, and quality control of instrumentation and control systems, including control valves, transmitters, flow meters, pressure, temperature, and level instruments, switches, analyzers, PLC, DCS, RTU, instrument cabling, junction boxes, and control panels . Experienced in reviewing instrumentation installation, loop checking, calibration, functional testing, and pre-commissioning activities in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Familiar with applicable international codes, standards, and best practices for instrumentation and control systems (e.g., IEC, ISA, API , or project-specific standards). Holds valid training or professional certifications issued within the last 5 years in instrumentation, control systems, installation, testing, inspection, or quality control from recognized authorities or professional organizations. Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with Contractors, Engineering, and Construction teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform inspections and monitor the installation of instrumentation and control systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, Company requirements, and applicable codes and standards. Inspect and verify instrumentation and control equipment, including control valves, transmitters, flow meters, switches, level instruments, PLC/DCS/RTU systems, instrument cabling, junction boxes, control panels, and related equipment . Witness and validate testing, calibration, loop checking, and pre-commissioning activities to ensure instrumentation and control systems are installed and functioning in accordance with project requirements. Work closely with Company representatives and Construction Contractors to support quality assurance throughout instrumentation and control construction and pre-commissioning activities. Prepare and maintain routine inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation, ensuring timely submission to the Company. Ensure Contractors perform installation and testing activities in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), project specifications, and quality requirements. Identify quality issues or non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation until closure. Report to and support the Lead Quality Controller in monitoring and maintaining quality compliance for instrumentation and control activities throughout project execution.
