Requirements
3+ years in product management for
subscription-based consumer products
(mobile app and/or web), ideally in wellness, EdTech, or another high-frequency B2C category
Full ownership
of at least one product or major surface end to end, you've been the person accountable for the outcome, not just the backlog. You set the strategy, made the calls, shipped, and owned the results (good or bad)
Hands-on
customer development
experience: running user interviews, problem discovery, and continuous discovery habits. Talking to users directly and often, not relying on secondhand summaries
A working
feedback loop
you've built and owned. Closing the gap between what users say (interviews, reviews, support tickets, community sentiment), what they do (product analytics), and what ships next. You treat feedback as a system, not a one-off exercise
Proven track record owning
web2app / web2web funnels
from acquisition landing and quiz flows through paywall, checkout, and onboarding - treating the whole funnel as
yours
to move
Strong command of
subscription analytics
: cohort retention (M1/M2+), LTV, ARPU, rebill/churn and the instinct to own the number, dig into
why
it moved, and act without being asked
Hands-on experience running
A/B experiments
: hypothesis design, prioritization, reading results honestly, and owning the decision to ship, kill, or iterate
Fluency with a modern
product analytics stack
(PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel) and revenue data (Stripe), including writing and owning
event specifications
rather than delegating instrumentation and hoping it's right
Experience owning
paywall, pricing, and monetization
- plan structure, promo strategy, regional pricing with clear accountability for revenue impact
Confidence
- leading cross-functional delivery
- across engineering, design, QA, analytics, and content. Writing crisp tickets and PRDs/TRDs, unblocking your own dependencies, and owning the delivery timeline end to end
English
- at a B2 level for external documentation and deliverables.
- Nice to have
Experience in
- relationship wellness, mental health, self-help, or microlearning
- product spaces
Familiarity with
- server-side attribution
- (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions) and the post-ATT measurement landscape
Exposure to
App Store / Play Store
review cycles and subscription compliance
Experience with
- LLM/AI-powered product features
- (AI companions, generated content, upsell instrumentation) and their monetization
- Track record taking a product through
- PMF discovery
- segmentation, pain clustering, positioning against competitors
Comfort with
- performance-marketing collaboration
- (JTBD-driven creative angles, funnel-to-ad feedback loops).
