Live-in Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide personal care and companionship to a client in their home in Michigan. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of empathy, patience, and the ability to support daily living activities while promoting the client’s independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Offer companionship and engage in conversation and activities.
• Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health to family or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving (preferred, but not required).
• Ability to live in the client’s home for scheduled shifts (e.g., 5–7 days at a time).
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
