Job Description & Summary: PwC India is seeking a highly skilled Application Architect (Multi-Cloud) with hands-on experience in designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise-grade cloud solutions across multiple cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a technical leadership role focused on developing scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures that enable digital transformation, application modernization, and business innovation across enterprise environments. Job Position Title : IN_Senior Manager_Application Architect_ D&A_ Advisory_PAN India Responsibilities: Design and implement enterprise-wide multi-cloud architecture solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments. Lead cloud transformation and application modernization initiatives, including cloud-native, microservices, serverless, and container-based architectures. Architect highly available, scalable, resilient, and secure applications aligned with business and technology strategies. Define cloud governance frameworks, architectural standards, design principles, and best practices for multi-cloud environments. Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, security teams, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices to enable automated deployments and cloud operations. Evaluate and recommend cloud services, platforms, tools, and technologies to optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Drive cloud security, compliance, networking, identity management, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies. Develop architecture blueprints, reference architectures, solution design documents, and technology roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the application lifecycle from architecture design to deployment and support. Mandatory skill sets: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing multi-cloud architectures across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AKS/EKS/GKE. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Strong understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, identity and access management (IAM), and Zero Trust principles. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms. Knowledge of application integration patterns, API management, messaging systems, and enterprise integration frameworks. Experience in designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery-enabled cloud solutions. Strong expertise in cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions. Working knowledge of modern application development frameworks and programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, or Go. Strong understanding of cloud governance, compliance frameworks, and enterprise architecture methodologies. Preferred skill sets: Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or Google Professional Cloud Architect. Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies. Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud financial management. Experience with hybrid cloud and edge computing architectures. Exposure to AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Analytics platforms deployed in cloud ecosystems. Experience working in consulting, large-scale digital transformation, or enterprise modernization programs.
