IP Network Engineer

Proximus Global (BICS) is seeking a motivated Medior IP Network Engineer to operate, maintain, and evolve our IP network infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in IP networking, is eager to deepen their technical expertise, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced service provider environment. Key Responsibilities: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IP network equipment and services in line with established standards and runbooks Execute planned network changes including hardware replacements, software upgrades, and capacity extensions Contribute to the design and testing of technical solutions under the guidance of senior engineers Participate in incident management, perform initial root cause analysis, and escalate complex issues as needed Maintain and update system documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures Support the software and hardware lifecycle of network infrastructure Collaborate with vendors and colocation providers on routine operational tasks (cross-connects, RMAs, circuit activations)
