Job Title: Senior L2 Support Engineer – HFM (PowerShell / Azure)

Role Overview

We are looking for a

Senior L2 Support Engineer

  • with strong expertise in
  • HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) installation and support
  • , along with hands-on experience in

PowerShell and Azure

. The candidate will be responsible for managing deployments, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high availability of financial applications in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle

  • HFM installation, configuration, and upgrades
  • in enterprise environments

Provide

  • L2 support
  • for HFM applications and infrastructure-related issues
  • Troubleshoot complex
  • technical, application, and environment-related issues

Perform

  • root cause analysis (RCA)
  • and implement preventive solutions
  • Develop automation scripts using

PowerShell

  • Manage and support
  • Azure-based environments
  • (VMs, services, deployments)
  • Monitor system health and ensure
  • high availability and performance

Coordinate with

L1 support, DevOps, and infrastructure teams

Support

  • financial closing cycles (month-end/year-end)
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and deployment guides
  • Ensure adherence to
  • SLA, security, and compliance standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of experience in

Application/Production Support or Infrastructure Support

  • Strong experience in
  • HFM installation and administration
  • Hands-on expertise in
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Experience working with
  • Microsoft Azure (cloud infrastructure)

Understanding of

financial systems and reporting workflows

Experience with

  • incident management tools
  • (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in
  • rotational shifts (11 AM – 3 AM IST)
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

Experience with

Oracle Hyperion suite

Exposure to

DevOps practices / CI-CD pipelines

Knowledge of

  • automation in cloud environments
