Role Overview
Ascendion is hiring a Junior L2 Support Engineer with experience in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), PowerShell, and Azure. The role involves supporting financial applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operations in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2 support for HFM applications
Assist in installation, configuration, and environment setup
Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems
Support scripting and automation using PowerShell
Monitor and support Azure environments (VMs, deployments)
Ensure system performance and availability
Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Collaborate with L1, DevOps, and Infra teams
Support month-end and year-end financial cycles
Maintain documentation and SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Application/Production/Infrastructure Support
Hands-on experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management)
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure
Understanding of financial systems and reporting workflows
Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork
Good to Have
Exposure to Oracle Hyperion Suite
Basic knowledge of cloud and automation
Experience supporting financial applications
