About The Role

LeMans Corporation HR Operations Manager Janesville, WI Overview The HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role ensures the efficient delivery of HR services, compliance with policies and regulations, and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. The HR Operations Manager acts as a strategic partner to HR leadership and collaborates across departments to support organizational goals. Job Functions Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity Lead system upgrades, implementations and integrations Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making Lead the day-to-day payroll activities and provide senior-level support to the payroll processing team Act as quality assurance by providing the final validation of payroll processing Considered the subject matter expert for payroll and time Develop, document and improve HR processes and workflows Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations Support internal audits and manage risk mitigation strategies Oversee onboarding, offboarding and employee records management Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to streamline hiring and transition processes Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations) Support relationships with HR vendors (e.g., background checks, benefits administration) Support benefits and payroll operations in collaboration with Finance and external providers Supervise HR Advisors and Specialists as applicable Provide training and guidance on HR systems and processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives Maintains strict confidentiailty Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned Skills Skills Skill Proficiency Level INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Ability to build rapport with team members through concise, articulate verbal and written communication. Excellent CONFIDENTIALITY AND INTEGRITY: Maintains strict confidence dealing with sensitive information or situations and exercises a reasonable degree of care to prevent disclosure to others. Excellent LEADERSHIP: Provides clear direction and purpose while empowering employees to achieve objectives. Motivates, mentors, and develops employees. Excellent VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION: Demonstrates the ability to be concise, articulate, and adapt the communication style to a specific audience with materials that are well-written and easy to understand. Excellent Specialized Skills Skill Proficiency Level Knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP. UKG) Excellent Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements Excellent Analytical, organizational, and communication skills Excellent Required Qualifications and Education Education Level Details Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) Experience Level Details 4-6 Years Progressive HR experience, including operations or systems management Other Experience with compliance and employment law Certification Details Other Six Sigma certification preferred Physical Demands Physical Demand Frequency Must be able to sit for 7+ hours a day Frequently Must be mobile within an office space to access file cabinets, office and/or computer equipment Occasionally Must be able to communicate verbally and written Frequently Must be able to read from a screen Frequently Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
