About The Role

Role Summary The Inventory Supervisor assigns and supervises daily inventory control to ensure accuracy, efficiency and seamless operations collaborating with various departments to reduce cost and enhance performance. Main Tasks Leads, guides and directs team to include hiring, training, monitoring performance, coaching, terminating in accordance with Company and HR Policies to contribute to the overall success and culture within the organization Fulfills procedures, instructions, orders and environmental laws and all generally applicable legal regulations Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages Plans and executes stocktaking according standards Fulfills the requests of supplier ordering process Communicates daily with Supervisors, Plant Management and Corporate Management teams on all things inventory Responsible for and contacts customer or supplier consignment Responsible for planning stocktaking at subcontractor, consignment stock and external warehouse Creates and reports KPI’s Deriving measures and improvements Handles and tracks scrapping activities for the plant Supports ERP postings (correction movement types) Ensures compliance with audits within the workplace Follows and adheres to all safety rules and regulations Additional duties as assigned Your Profile Education: Bachelors Degree or combination of education and experience to provide an equivalent background Experience: 2+ years of relevant work experience, with special focus on inventory management and stocktaking preferred 2+ years supervisory experience preferred Skills and Abilities Must possess strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and attention to detail to prioritize and work well under time pressure Excellent computer skills to include MS Office products with a strong understanding of Excel and basic formulas; ERP skills required, Sage X3 a plus Forklift certification or experience a plus Experience in inventory management, cycle counting and using scanners to track product Must have 5S skills (keep work area safe and clean) Must work safely and identify all safety issues using the STOP, CALL, WAIT system until repairs are made! Lean Manufacturing experience desired Must have good analytical and problem-solving abilities Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of employees and customers/vendors Must be able to work as part of a team to ensure all company standards are met Must be able flexible with the ability to adapt to last minute changes Self-initiative and ability to work under pressure Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies Salary: $60k-70k
