Job Summary We are seeking a strong, analytically minded Senior Business Analyst to support competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and market research engagements for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. The role centres on high-quality delivery—robust secondary research, sharp analysis, and clear synthesis of scientific, clinical, and competitive information into decision-ready insights and polished deliverables. Exposure to metabolic and liver disease areas (obesity, diabetes, CVRM, MASH/MASLD) is a plus, though candidates from any therapeutic background with strong analytical depth are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Support the execution of competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and market research projects for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. • Conduct secondary research and synthesize scientific, clinical, competitive, and market information into actionable insights. • Develop high-quality client deliverables, including competitor profiles, landscape assessments, opportunity analyses, and monitoring reports. • Track and analyze clinical trials, regulatory updates, scientific publications, partnerships, and key market events across therapeutic areas. • Support conference intelligence activities through collection, analysis, and synthesis of key scientific and competitive developments. • Collaborate with project managers and consultants to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. • Contribute to the development of presentations and reports for client engagements. • Mentor analysts and support quality control of project deliverables when required. • Proactively flag emerging trends and relevant signals to strengthen project outputs. Core Competencies • Solid understanding of competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and secondary research methodologies. • Strong ability to synthesize complex scientific and competitive information into clear, structured insights. • Ability to independently manage project workstreams and deliver high-quality outputs on time. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for building professional, client-ready deliverables. • Understanding of clinical trials and pharmaceutical industry dynamics. • Ownership mindset and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced delivery environment. • Working knowledge of metabolic and liver disease areas (added advantage, not mandatory). Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, PharmD, MPH or equivalent) in life sciences. • 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical competitive intelligence, market intelligence, market research, or consulting. • Strong secondary research skills with the ability to build competitor profiles, landscape assessments, and monitoring trackers. • Experience creating high-quality PowerPoint deliverables independently. • Understanding of clinical trial design, endpoints, and interpretation. Experience or strong interest in metabolic and liver disease areas (obesity, diabetes, CVRM, MASH/MASLD) is preferred
