Senior Accountant

Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in TRATON FINANCIAL SERVICES ROMANIA . The ideal candidate has experience in financial leasing, knowledge of IFRS, capable of managing accounting and fiscal operations with accuracy and integrity. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, including reporting to the National Bank of Romania Job Responsibilities Requirements: Minimum 4 years related experience in accounting/finance, preferably in non-banking financial institutions or banks Experience in working with an ERP system, Charisma is a plus Advanced user of Excel Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Fluent in English Main responsibilities: Review invoices for appropriate documentation/ accuracy accordingly with fiscal regulation and do the bookkeeping Maintain Fixed Assets & Depreciation Ledger Maintain prepayments & accruals reconciliations each month Review accounting entries and perform periodic account reconciliations (AP/AR/GL, VAT), ensuring data accuracy and promptly investigating discrepancies Prepare/assist in the preparation of tax declarations (e.g. D100,D300, D390, D394) Prepare/assist in the preparation of financial, statistical, prudential reports for the National Bank of Romania Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Participate in the preparation and submission of monthly group reporting Participate in ERP development projects Participate in the elaboration/implementation of procedures What we offer: Location: Bucharest, Aviatorilor area Competitive salary package and benefits , meal vouchers and private health insurance.
