Job Title: Designer (Level B) Job Code: 39754 Job Location: Clifton, NJ Job Schedule: 9/80: Employee works 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing engineering documentation and maintaining a CAD model database. The candidate will execute assignments under close supervision as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering design team. Essential Functions: Documentation and drawing generation Frequent use of mechanical CAD modeling tools Specification, model, and drawing generation per ASME Y14.100 Collaboration with multifunctional engineering teams Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience Preferred Additional Skills: Excellent communication skills Broad understanding of basic mechanical design practices Hands-on hardware or laboratory experience with electronic assemblies and systems Ability to obtain a US security clearance Familiarity with Windchill, Creo, and military design and environmental test standards In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is [$52,000 - $97,000].
