Senior Software Engineer (Python, Node.js and Go)

Type of contract: Employment contract Salary range: 14600-22300 PLN gross What will you do? Join a strategic Software Security platform initiative focused on Engineering Excellence, modern cloud-native solutions, and large-scale automation. You will help build and evolve internal products and services, contribute hands-on to software development, and drive high engineering standards across agile teams. The role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, platform ownership, and technical leadership with a strong focus on innovation, automation, reliability, and security. Your tasks Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Node.js Build and enhance cloud-native services running on Google Cloud Platform Architect and manage solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine Design and implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-concurrency workloads Own the full lifecycle of services, ensuring resilience, observability and cost efficiency Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect integrations Drive engineering excellence, best practices and code quality across teams Identify opportunities for automation and eliminate manual operational activities Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions Mentor engineers and actively share knowledge across teams Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms Your skills Strong commercial experience with Python and Django Strong commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS Experience designing and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Experience building event-driven architectures Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect Experience with cloud-native application design and microservices Experience with observability, monitoring and operational excellence Knowledge of software architecture and engineering best practices Experience working in Agile environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Nice to have Experience with Go Experience with Rust Open-source contributions or active GitHub portfolio Technical blogging or community involvement Experience building developer platforms Experience in security-focused environments We offer Hybrid work in one our client's office (Kraków) 6 days a month Working in a highly experienced and dedicated team Benefit package tailored to your needs (medical, sport, lunch subsidy, life insurance, etc.) Online training and certifications Access to e-learning platform Social events
