Type of contract: Employment contract Salary range: 17400-26700 PLN gross What will you do? Join a strategic transformation initiative focused on building and enhancing an in-house collateral management platform. As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, and integrate enterprise-grade solutions, working closely with architects, technical leads, QA engineers, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient applications while leveraging modern engineering practices and AI-enabled software development approaches. Your tasks Design and develop Java-based microservices and backend components Build and integrate enterprise applications across multiple workstreams Collaborate with architects and technical leads on solution design decisions Implement robust testing strategies including unit and integration testing Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and quality controls Design and consume REST APIs and event-driven integrations Ensure application security, performance, resilience, and operational stability Contribute to cloud-based solution development on Google Cloud Platform Support delivery of AI-enabled engineering capabilities and software development practices Participate in troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement activities Your skills Around 8 years of professional software development experience Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases Knowledge of schema design, performance tuning, and transactional processing Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers, and API testing Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab Knowledge of code quality and security tooling including Sonar, SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning Understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, messaging, and event-driven architectures Experience contributing to technical design and architecture discussions Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform Knowledge of GenAI concepts, LLMs, RAG, and agent-based architectures Understanding of AI governance, controls, and responsible engineering practices Nice to have Experience in regulated financial services environments Knowledge of cloud-native technologies including containers and Kubernetes Experience with service mesh and observability tools Knowledge of performance engineering and resilience testing Experience implementing AI-enabled SDLC practices Hands-on experience building or integrating GenAI solutions Experience with prompt management, evaluation frameworks, or RAG pipelines We offer Hybrid work in our client's office (Kraków) 8 days a month Working in a highly experienced and dedicated team Benefit package tailored to your needs (medical, sport, lunch subsidy, life insurance, etc.) Online training and certifications Access to e-learning platform Social events
