Tasks Conducting incoming goods inspections, measurements for in-process monitoring, and outgoing inspections/final qualifications in accordance with specifications Reviewing and evaluating supplier reports; documenting and archiving measurement results Use, manage, and program existing measuring and testing equipment—e.g., roughness measuring instruments, 3D coordinate measuring machines, handheld measuring devices Assist with the monitoring, management, calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of the machine, measuring, and testing equipment pool Prepare non-conformance reports and initiate complaints as needed Profile Completed vocational training in a technical field – ideally with further training as a technician or master craftsman Experience working with conventional measuring and testing equipment – ideally also experience with 3D coordinate measuring machines In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and relevant standards Proficiency with MS Office applications Willingness to work shifts Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer Minorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
