Join us in fueling our electric future.Position Summary:This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment to help develop, validate, and scale electrocatalysts for Voya’s proprietary metal-air fuel cell.Responsibilities:Develop improved metal alloys to improve the power and minimize corrosion for Voya’s metal-air fuel cells.Identify structure-property relationships and translate to improved anode chemistry analytical tests and methods to identify mechanisms to feed understanding back into the anode experimental with Voya’s engineering and production teams to scale and demonstrate new electrolytes from lab to pilot and production-intent systems.Qualifications:Proven ability to invent and advance novel chemistries from concept to validation, preferably in energy storage/generation applications.Experience with the development of anodes/cathodes for electrochemical systems (e.g. fuel cells, batteries, electrolyzers).Experience with metals corrosion chemistry is a plus.Ability to operate in a fast-paced, start-up environment.Results-oriented with a strong sense urgency.What we offer:Competitive salary and equity compensation commensurate with experienceUnlimited PTO100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) plan
