Pediatric Behavioral Health Care Manager (BHCM)Part-Time | 20 hours/week (path to full-time)On-Site: 1140 Parsippany Blvd, Parsippany, NJSalary: $35,000 to $40,000 annually based on experienceWhy This Role Stands OutThis is not a traditional therapy role. As a Behavioral Health Care Manager, you will be the core member of an integrated, multi-disciplinary treatment team supporting a panel of patients with pediatric mental health <needs.You>’ll practice in a true Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), working alongside pediatricians and a psychiatric consultant to deliver measurement-based, outcomes-driven care to children and families at a population health impact.If you value wrap-around, evidence-based care, clear clinical direction, and a highly collaborative team environment, this role is designed for you.About Fort HealthFort Health is building a better system for pediatric mental health—one that is accessible, evidence-based, and integrated into primary care.We partner with leading organizations like the Child Mind Institute and follow the AIMS Center model to deliver care that is both scalable and clinically rigorous.What You’ll DoYou’ll manage a caseload within a structured, team-based model:Deliver brief, evidence-based interventions (CBT skills, Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Treatment, Parent-Management Training)Track outcomes using validated tools (PHQ-9, GAD-7, SCARED, etc.)Adjust care based on treatment-to-target principlesCoordinate closely with pediatricians, psychiatrists, and familiesSupport medication adherence and monitor responseParticipate in weekly psychiatric case consultationDrive patient engagement, follow-up, and continuity of careSchedule (Designed for Consistency + Flexibility)20 hours/week, with opportunity to grow into full-time3 days on-site for afternoons/evening hours between 1:30-7:30 pm (choice of Mon–Thurs)3 flexible remote hours/week for admin, care coordination, and meetingsWhat We’re Looking ForLicensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or advanced practice psychiatric practitioner (NP)Licensed independently to practiceMinimum 1-year of direct clinical experience working with children, adolescents and their families (e.g., ages 4-24 years old)Experience and training in delivering brief psychosocial evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, problem solving treatment, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing)Experience with care coordinationWorking knowledge of differential diagnosis of common mental health disorders.Strong skills in engaging parents and children, developing appropriate treatment planning, and ability to collaborate and communicate proactively with the key supports in a child’s life including external providers and school personnelPreferred experience working in a team-based healthcare settingOrganized, proactive, and comfortable with measurement-based careThrives in a team-based, fast-moving clinical environmentWhat You’ll GetHigh-quality clinical model with clear structure and supportTraining and ongoing consultation through the AIMS frameworkA role where you can focus on clinical impact within a population health frameworkA collaborative team that values clinical rigor and outcomesCompetitive compensation + generous PTO (including mental health days)Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, mission driven startup
