Rig Manager (Talent Pool) Job

Job Location Head Office or Assigned Location Reports to Operations Manager Job Purpose The Rig Manager is responsible for an assigned onshore or offshore drilling rig's safe, efficient, and profitable operation. This position serves as the primary client liaison and fosters positive relationships. To maximize performance and minimize distractions for the Rig Supervisors, The Rig Manager must ensure that OIM/Rig Superintendent and other front-line leaders at the rig site are essentially solely focused on safe and efficient rig operations and that diverse administrative aspects requiring attention are kept to the minimum. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Leadership: Safety & Compliance: Client Relations: Logistics & Maintenance: Performance Optimization 1: Performance Optimization 2: Total Years of Experience (Minimum) 15 years of experience in drilling operations including 5 years as rig manager on drilling rigs onshore and/or offshore Relevant Experience Proven track record of leading and motivating drilling crews. Experience in managing drilling operations from spud-to-release. Demonstrated ability to optimize drilling performance and minimize downtime. Strong understanding of HSE regulations and commitment to safety best practices. Minimum two years of experience as a rig superintendent (Preferable).
