Job Location Rigs Reports to Offshore Installation Manager Job Purpose The Day Pusher plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and productive operation of drilling rigs during their daytime operations. They supervise and lead the drilling crew, overseeing all drilling activities, equipment maintenance, and adherence to Arabian Drilling's HSE and Operations policies and procedures. In this role, the Day Pusher acts as a key liaison between the OIM and the drilling crew, ensuring clear communication and problem-solving to achieve daily drilling objectives while strictly adhering to the well program. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Drilling Operations Management: Equipment Management: Operations & Maintenance 1: Operations & Maintenance 2: HSE (Health, Safety & Environment): Personnel: Total Years of Experience (Minimum) Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore Drilling Operations, with at least 2 years' experience as day pusher Relevant Experience Strong understanding of drilling operations, equipment, and wellbore mechanics. Proven ability to lead and motivate a drilling crew, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational environment. Experience in implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with crew members, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving daily drilling targets while prioritizing safety.
