About The Role

About Traveloka Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region. We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that. About the Team Accommodation Data is the analytical engine behind how millions of travellers across Southeast Asia find and book the right place to stay — from budget guesthouses to premium international chains. We turn billions of search, pricing, and booking signals into the models and insights that shape supply quality, competitive pricing, ranking, and conversion. When a traveller sees the right property at the right price, that is our work. Here you build at real scale on real markets, not slideware. You own problems end to end — framing the question, shipping the model or the analysis, and watching it move conversion and revenue across 11 countries. You will help build the cross-sell bridge that turns a flight booking into a full trip. We are not importing someone else's playbook for this region; we are writing our own, and you can write the next chapter of it. About the Job As a Senior Data Analyst on Traveloka’s Accommodation team, you are a senior expert individual contributor with no direct reports who develops and implements the operational analytics plan for the Accommodation business area — work with direct impact on that area’s overall results and performance. Own and deliver the operational analytics plan for the Accommodation business area in line with the domain’s priorities, with your work directly shaping its results. Tackle genuinely complex problems that require in-depth understanding of impact across operational, financial, and human-capital dimensions, and turn them into clear recommendations. Build the advanced models, segmentations, and experiments the business uses to set direction, applying deep, well-developed expertise built from theory and experience. Enhance the metric definitions, pipelines, and analytical processes your area runs on as part of project teams, raising the standard others inherit. Persuade and convince senior business and tech stakeholders of the right course of action with evidence, even when the decision-making authority sits with them. Set the technical bar for rigour and experimentation across a wide analytics surface, leading through expertise rather than line authority. Propose strong inputs and mentor other analysts as the go-to expert, without owning a team or carrying people-management accountability. Job Requirements You have at least 5 years of relevant experience. You are deeply expert in SQL, BI tooling, and advanced analytical methods — segmentation, experimentation, modelling — and still build hands-on. You have repeatedly solved complex, ambiguous problems whose impact spans operations, finance, and people. You design and interpret experiments to a high standard and improve how your area runs them. You build dashboards, pipelines, and data products (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, cloud platforms) that the business trusts as the source of truth. You influence senior business and tech leaders and have shaped real strategy with your analysis. You are the technical reference point others come to — you raise the bar through expertise, not headcount. You mentor and guide peers as a senior individual contributor, without managing a team. You have a degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent) and typically at least 7 years in analytics, BI, or data science. You communicate with executive presence in English — concise, clear, persuasive — and bring strong business acumen. You have built a reusable analytics framework or self-serve data product that scaled across multiple teams. You have led a high-stakes analytics initiative end to end and can point to the business decision it changed. You have driven adoption of AI-assisted analytics among your peers while keeping rigour high. Join Us If you have read this far and felt something click — the problem, the scale, the moment — we would like to hear from you. We review every application. If your background is a strong fit, you will hear from us within 5 business days. We are building the kind of company where strong people choose to stay because the work keeps getting bigger and better. If that is what you are looking for, apply.
