Job Description: Electrician Location: Weija, Greater Accra Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician with at least 2 years of practical experience to join our operations team in Weija. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in the plant to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and plant equipment. • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective measures promptly. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures. • Collaborate with mechanics, technicians, and supervisors to minimize downtime. • Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts usage. • Assist in upgrading and modifying electrical systems to improve efficiency. • Keep the workshop and plant equipment organized and safe. Qualifications & Skills • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Plant Electrician. • Diploma, certificate, or vocational training in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and plant machinery. • Ability to use diagnostic tools and electrical repair equipment effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
