Global Job Title Job No. C-Sample Coordinator III OP1907 Job Objective Ensuring all builds performed during the TtM phase are successfully carried out in terms of quality level, engineering level, C-Sample maturity level, technical specifications in the appropriate moment to ship to the customer, laboratories or any other party that requests samples from a given product Responsible of ensuring the availability of parts for the sample build, be it internal or external components (involvement of different areas of responsibility) Tracking of all open points regarding sample builds in the project phase and to escalate deviations in a timely manner to the corresponding responsible area Duties and Responsibilities A Sample Coordination 1 Learning how to apply the Z-SAM C-Sample processes. Tracking of all relevant activities and pushing the responsible entities to take care of these ones 2 Working out and publishing a Sample Production Plan with enough anticipation for each project that covers the entire TtM phase from the moment the production elements are received in the plant until SOP 3 Following up with Manufacturing Engineers the creation of C-Sample master data, C-Sample demand into ERP, ePW (when required) and, consequently, Purchase Orders to ensure the procurement of sample parts (components) from the different suppliers 4 Ensuring availability together with the TtM Logistics Supplier Analyst in the case where a Blanket PO is available, or a Carry Over (for the specific facility) material is used. Ensuring enough material availability for all Sample Build Events 5 Ensuring that Manufacturing Engineers, team members, and tool specialists know the dates, quantities, maturity levels required for every sample build, so they can arrange their presence in the case of production events of injected parts, SMD builds, or sub-assemblies 6 Filling out the corresponding Premium Freight Formats in order to perform the movements from the plant facility to the Customer by involving TtM Logistics to ensure full coordination 7 Identifying the samples with customer/project specific labels provided by Quality department, the only exception being when the material is booked and shipped in SAP and the labels to be used are standard AIAG/VDA labels (printed from SAP), in which the responsibility falls with the Finished Goods Warehouse 8 Ensuring the correct identification of all components and samples across all Production Steps 9 Ensuring together with the Quality Purchase Quality of the project, all Sample, Quality, and Engineering levels of the parts that are received from the suppliers or produced internally 10 Monitoring that all components are correctly fed into the corresponding stations in the assembly line according to the Routing Instruction and BOM 11 Monitoring that the instructions to build are respected and ensure the correct assembly of the Samples following the Control Plan. If any rework is to be made, the Sample Coordinator must ensure to have a written confirmation JOB DESCRIPTION about the description of the Rework from the Quality department assigned to the project, so that the activity results in a satisfactory Sample Build 12 Ensuring that the samples are ready and correctly booked in SAP, that the materials are consumed, and the sample costs and scrap are correctly posted 13 Filling out an Inspection Report with all criteria properly filled out, including the drawing and correct S number level of the part and obtaining all relevant signatures in order for the shipment to be executed 14 After finalization of Sample Build Event, organizing a stock check in the assembly line which material will have to be returned to the Components Warehouse with the proper identification in terms of Sample, Engineering and Quality levels and correct Quantity. Accounting all the scrap registered in the event and ensure the correct posting Carrying out other tasks related to this position (including examining as well as complying with industrial safety and environmental protection measures pertaining to the scope of duties) Job Profile / Requirements a) profession / education b) job related experience University degree more than 2 up to 3 years
