Overview Registered Nurse — PCU | Watertown, NY, US | Start 09/07/2026 | 12 weeks | $2,208–$2,352 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 12-hour days (7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) | Travel temporary assignment in a hospital setting Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,208–$2,352 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 12 weeks - Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday requirements - Start date: 09/07/2026 - Setting: hospital-based PCU travel assignment - Prior traveler experience required Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care to adult PCU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care - Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, and respond to changes in condition - Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to coordinate patient care - Document care accurately in the medical record and contribute to discharge planning and patient education - Ensure safe patient handling and mobility, including use of lifts and appropriate safety practices - May assume charge nurse duties as needed, prioritizing tasks, delegating appropriately, and maintaining a calm, organized unit Requirements - Active NY RN license - BLS required; ACLS required; NIH required; PALS preferred - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing - Current critical care experience preferred - Traveler experience: Traveler must have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment Benefits and Support - 24/7 recruiter and travel support - Dedicated support throughout the assignment - Nationwide travel assignments - Extension opportunities across eligible assignments Find more opportunities If this role isn’t a fit, apply for other RN travel openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting <https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply> Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
