About The Role

Overview Ultrasound Technologist (Travel) – Ultrasound Tech in Everett, Washington. Start date: 08/31/2026. Assignment length: 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,868–$1,951. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights (Friday–Sunday). Work setting: Level II trauma center with outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency, and inpatient services across two campuses (571 staffed beds combined). Orientation: 40 hours. May be required to float to a nearby campus for STAT exams. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,868–$1,951 per week - Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: Nights, 3x12 (Fri–Sun) - Start date: 08/31/2026 - Orientation: 40 hours - Floating: May float to a nearby campus (~2 miles) for STAT exams - Eligibility: Accepts first-time travelers; weekend requirement included Responsibilities - Perform ultrasound examinations across a range of modalities, including abdominal, OB/GYN/fetal surveys, neonatal/pediatric imaging, small parts (breast/thyroid/testicular), vascular/renal/aorta, and portable/ED/IR exams. - Ensure high image quality and proper patient positioning; adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols; document findings in the electronic charting system. - Prepare patients, explain procedures, obtain consent when required, and coordinate with radiologists and clinicians for timely interpretation and report delivery. - Maintain equipment readiness, troubleshoot basic system issues, and assist with STAT exams as needed; participate in cross-campus coverage as assigned. - Navigate care coordination with teams across inpatient, ED, IR, and outpatient services; participate in safety and quality initiatives as required. Requirements - Compact state ultrasound license in hand at submission. - ARDMS certification and BLS required; ARDMS preferred (Abdominal/Musculoskeletal, OB/GYN); ARRT (Sonography) preferred. - Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience; community hospital experience; trauma Level I experience listed as required. - Ability to work the 3x12 night shift and weekends; may float to a nearby campus for STAT exams. - Epic charting experience is preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced trauma setting.
