Senior Analyst Operational Risk and Resilience

About The Role

This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the operational resilience of a customer-owned bank. You'll work across business, technology, procurement, compliance and risk teams, helping the Bank identify vulnerabilities, challenge assumptions and improve how risk is managed. From business continuity and supplier risk through to control testing and resilience oversight, you'll have exposure to a broad range of risk disciplines and a direct line of sight to how your work influences business outcomes. As a smaller organisation, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact, build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to meaningful improvements that help protect our customers, people and services. To succeed in this role, you will have: At least three years' experience in operational risk, operational resilience, business continuity, supplier risk, compliance, assurance or a related discipline within financial services A strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, control assessments, issue management, incident management and remediation practices Knowledge of APRA prudential standards, including CPS 230, CPS 220 and CPS 234 Experience supporting or reviewing business continuity planning, resilience testing or operational resilience reporting Experience performing control testing or reviewing control design and operating effectiveness Experience using GRC systems to monitor, assess and report on risks, controls, issues and incidents Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and identify meaningful insights Excellent written communication skills, including preparing reports, risk papers and stakeholder communications A degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline Professional certifications in risk, resilience, business continuity or assurance disciplines will be highly regarded
