We are hiring English Language Teachers to provide in-person lessons to our clients in Summerville, South Carolina. Job Information: Ref: 199397 Student: Individual class for an adult Availability: Weekdays from 5-7 pm Lesson Frequency: 2x a week, 1-hour lessons Location: Summerville, SC 29486 (Near Halls Chophouse: 300 Nexton Square Dr, Summerville, SC 29486) Current target language level: Intermediate Native and other spoken languages: Arabic - English Student’s language needs and goals: He needs to fully understand and keep up with conversations, whether one-on-one or in group settings like meetings. He enjoys conversation practice during lessons, prefers structured lessons (clear objectives presented at the beginning of class, recaps of previous topics, explanations of short-term goals), and likes learning through games. His focus areas include grammar, vocabulary, listening strategies, reading and writing, pronunciation, slang, and conversations with native speakers. He’s also interested in job-related language, business communication, polite interaction, parenting, healthcare, sustainability, shopping, and navigating daily life in the new country. Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: To have a native or near‑native written and spoken proficiency in English To have a degree or certificate in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second‑language acquisition, or a related field To have a minimum of two years of English as a second language teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
