About The Role
- Occupational Therapist – MVA & WSIB Program Lead
- Foundation Health is expanding rapidly and building a dedicated
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA)
and
WSIB Occupational Therapy
program within our multidisciplinary clinic. We are looking for an experienced
Occupational Therapist
- who can take a leadership role in
- designing, launching, and delivering
- this new service line.

About the Role
- We are seeking an OT with direct experience in
- MVA rehabilitation, WSIB files, HCAI billing, OCF documentation, functional assessments, and return-to-work planning.
- This role goes beyond clinical work—you will help
- build the entire program
- , including workflows, documentation templates, insurer communication processes, and referral pathways.
- You will work closely with our physicians, physio team, and admin staff to integrate OT services into our broader clinic operations.
- This is a contract position.
Responsibilities
Lead the
- setup, launch, and ongoing delivery
- of our MVA and WSIB OT programs
Manage
- OCF-18s, OCF-3 collaboration, OCF-21 billing
- , Form 1s, and all HCAI submissions
- Provide in-clinic and community-based OT assessments and treatment
- Conduct functional, cognitive, ergonomic, and return-to-work evaluations
- Coordinate with insurers, adjusters, legal representatives, and case managers
- Build internal processes, referral pathways, and documentation templates
- Train clinic teams on MVA and WSIB workflows
- Contribute to program growth and quality improvement
Qualifications
- Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with COTO
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience
- in MVA or WSIB rehabilitation (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of SABS, HCAI, OCF forms, and insurer communication
- Experience with functional assessments, cognitive rehab, and return-to-work planning
- Ability to work independently and build new programs from the ground up
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset.
You will also have
- Skills in technology and experience with various EMR’s and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to work in unique, fast-paced environments.
- Good knowledge OT theory and practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening communication, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills.
- High adaptability capacity.
- Registration in other provinces is an asset.
