How you will contribute Analyzes assigned operational risk events, with a focus on identifying root causes and determining preventive measures to avoid similar incidents in the future; Enters and validates operational risk events in the relevant databases and dedicated applications; Performs periodic monitoring of operational risk incidents recorded in internal databases to ensure information is updated and accurate; Reconciles information from internal applications with accounting records and other available sources; Contributes to the definition, collection, and monitoring of operational risk indicators (KRIs); Develops and performs operational risk scenarios; Prepares periodic operational risk reports; Provides support to business units in the risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) process regarding the Bank’s operations and activities, with the objective of identifying operational risk vulnerabilities; proposes preventive and mitigation measures together with the involved entities and monitors their implementation and reporting; Supports the Outsourcing Manager and the Outsourcing Team in the risk assessment process related to outsourced activities; Drafts internal regulations and procedures specific to operational risk management and ensures their periodic review and update in accordance with applicable regulations; Identifies operational risks associated with new products, processes, and procedures, and ensures that appropriate mitigating measures are incorporated into the relevant procedures and workflows; Undertakes the necessary actions for the centralized procurement and management of insurance policies at Bank level, covering both the Bank’s assets and operational risks within the BCR Group; Throughout the validity period of insurance policies, provides support to functional entities to ensure the smooth management of the relationship with the insurer and facilitates the recovery of requested indemnities/insurance claims; Calculates Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) for operational risk under the Basic Approach methodology. What will make you be successful University degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or a related field; Minimum 3 years of professional experience, of which at least 2 years within financial and banking institutions; Advanced knowledge of banking operations in general and operational risk management in particular; Good understanding of the Bank's products and services, including banking products and services across all business areas; Solid economic and financial knowledge; IT skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook; English language - professional level.
