Maintenance Mechanic - 1st shift

Position Summary: Performs a variety of work in the maintenance. Performs routine repairs and maintenance and assists in more complex maintenance and repair of plant facilities and equipment. Responsibilities: Make routine, periodic inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment. Assists in Testing and, inspecting Troubleshoots and assists in repairing machines and equipment as needed Maintain repair logs Works from maintenance schedule Performs basic painting, machine and equipment repair, sheet metal fabrication and welding. Troubleshoots equipment or facilities problems and report them to supervisor. Uses variety of hand, power tools.
