Senior Software Engineer - Backend (all genders)

Your responsibilities

Work side-by-side with our CTO and our engineering team to develop systems that power our platform in hospitals and allow us to continuously ship great features.

Lead backend work, helping us to scale reliably across cloud and hybrid deployments

Take ownership of key components in our product roadmap and collaborate with our product and design functions to deliver features end-to-end

Drive the design, enhancement, and optimization of our software architecture to ensure scalability, efficiency, and maintainability

Champion thorough testing

Our Tech Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Docker

Who we are looking for

5+ years experience building production TypeScript backend services with proven architecture skills

Deep understanding of service-to-service communication patterns (with GraphQL)

Experience working in B2B SaaS, ideally with data-heavy or API-first products

Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues

(Bonus) Familiarity with medical software or healthcare data standards (e.g. FHIR)

Already residing in Berlin (or within daily commuting distance) and authorised to work in Germany.
