Director Frontend Engineering (gn) -Location Bucharest

The Director Frontend Engineering is accountable for the end-to-end implementation of product-strategy domains across Cockpit and the DKV App . The role ensures consistent, scalable, high-quality digital frontends across devices and journeys, orchestrating cross-domain delivery through strong engineering practices and operational excellence. Key responsibilities: Define and drive the frontend execution strategy and roadmap across Cockpit and App, including sequencing, milestones, dependencies, and alignment with Digital priorities. Own end-to-end frontend domain delivery, including frontend applications and corresponding BFFs, ensuring cohesive user flows, performance, reliability, and scalable solutions. Lead and orchestrate multiple domain-oriented frontend teams, balancing capacity across frontend, BFF, DevOps, QA, migrations, refactoring, and technical debt. Drive consistent frontend and BFF delivery through engineering standards, clear integrations, quality practices, and reliable operational routines. Ensure build-and-run accountability and budget ownership across frontend and BFF teams, covering monitoring, incident readiness, lifecycle management, and cost control.
