Buyer - Service & Contract - DCTL Dahej

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to manage end-to-end procurement of service contracts and Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs) for plant operations. The role is responsible for sourcing, contract management, commercial negotiations, vendor performance management, compliance governance, and cost optimization to ensure seamless plant operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in procurement of O&M services, manpower contracts, facility management services, contract risk assessment, and SAP-based procurement processes within manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Contract Management Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for Service Contracts and Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs). Handle sourcing and contracting for O&M Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Boiler Operations, Facility Management, Manpower, and Administrative Services. Prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate techno-commercial bids, and finalize suppliers through competitive sourcing processes. Drive contract renewals, amendments, scope management, and closure activities. Commercial Management Conduct commercial negotiations to achieve cost optimization and value realization. Analyze spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement procurement best practices. Ensure budget adherence and procurement efficiency. Vendor Management Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic service providers. Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and compliance against contractual commitments. Conduct vendor evaluations and performance reviews. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, HR policies, and company procurement procedures. Identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and operational risks. Maintain proper contract documentation and audit readiness. Systems & Reporting Execute procurement activities through SAP procurement modules. Generate procurement MIS, spend analysis, contract tracking reports, and savings dashboards.
