About The Role

Job Discription

By day, DB55 is a buzzing co-working space for approximately 80 people across seven companies – architects, designers, sustainability pioneers, food innovators, and more. By night (and weekends), the space transforms: pop-up restaurants, product launches, workshops, exhibitions. You name it, we make it happen. And we need someone to help us do exactly that. Full time, for a period of 6 months, starting as of September.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

Event planning & execution

Planning, organising, and executing various events. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the event planning industry. You will work closely with our Venue Manager and Community Manager to support all aspects of event logistics, from pre-event planning to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up

Hosting & floor work

During events, you will work alongside the event crew. This includes working behind the bar, opening and closing the venue, and guiding break-up or break-down works.

Social media content

During some events, we will need photos and videos to share on our social media channels.

Required skills & Experience

You'd be a great fit if…

You're passionate about events and love being in the thick of it

You communicate fluently in English (Dutch is a bonus, not a must)

You have F&B experience – bar shifts, hospitality, that kind of thing

You have a background in tourism, hospitality or event management

You're proactive, creative, and bring ideas to the table (literally and figuratively)

A flexible schedule doesn't scare you – evenings and weekends are part of the deal

In exceptional cases, outstanding performance can lead to a full-time role.

You will first receive an automated confirmation mail. We'll review all applications between June 8 and Jun 19, and you can expect to hear from us after June 22.

Sounds like you?
