EE / Software System Design Engineer; Automotive

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced EE&SW System Design Engineer to take end-to-end responsibility for system solutions within assigned projects or concept areas. This role involves working collaboratively with stakeholders, leading technical concepts, and driving system development while balancing business needs, platform strategies, cost, and technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify and negotiate requirements with stakeholders.
• Lead technical concepts and analysis in the early project phases.
• Develop competitive and timely system solutions addressing application needs, including:
• Physical installation.
• Non-functional aspects (e.g., diagnostics, power management, onboard communication).
• Functional and application software design, including HMI.
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity and functional safety risks, collaborating with domain experts to develop CS/FS concepts as required.
• Provide technical guidance and system knowledge to support development teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Build and maintain networks across the organization to influence and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in EE&SW embedded systems.
• At least 5 years in system engineering and architecture.
• Proven expertise in leading technical development for complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and functional safety principles.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
