About The Role

System Verification Engineer (E2E Tester)

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced System Verification Engineer to drive testing and quality assurance for vehicle connectivity and infotainment systems. The role involves hands-on testing, diagnostics, and fault tracing, as well as coordinating closely with internal and external workshops to ensure system readiness before release.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy and Coordination

  • Lead the test strategy for vehicle connectivity systems.
  • Plan and coordinate test resources within the VBC and Volvo Trucks network.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for test engineers, serving as a technical expert in testing.

E2E Testing

  • Perform end-to-end testing of onboard and offboard connectivity systems.
  • Develop, write, execute, and report on test cases based on system and vehicle-level requirements.
  • Ensure system quality and readiness before software or hardware releases.

Diagnostics and Fault Tracing

  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing in system rigs and vehicles.
  • Collaborate with dealers, workshops, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Required Qualifications

-

Experience

  • Proven experience in verification within vehicle or system rigs, particularly in connectivity for Volvo Trucks' onboard or offboard systems.
  • Expertise in vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with tools such as Vector tools and System Weaver.
  • Knowledge of Volvo Group systems and processes is highly valuable.

Skills

  • Ability to develop and document comprehensive test cases.
  • Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

  • A solid network within Volvo Group and a deep understanding of its systems and processes.
