About The Role
Performance & Calibration Specialist
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Performance & Calibration Specialist to lead the development and optimization of engine performance and calibration, contributing to advancements in driveline and vehicle functionality. This role focuses on technical expertise, collaboration, and innovative approaches to deliver high-performing solutions in a dynamic engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities

Component Specification
- Select feature-related hardware components, including detailed specifications for FIEspec, turbospec, camshaft profiles, and other engine-related hardware.
- Ensure alignment with project requirements and system prerequisites.

Calibration Development
- Calibrate datasets for embedded software functions supporting engines, EATS (Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems), drivelines, and vehicle functions.
- Drive engine performance calibration activities and contribute to verification plans.

Leadership and Expertise
- Lead a defined area of technical expertise within performance and calibration engineering.
- Propose and implement improvements to methods and tools.
- Provide insights into product and system roadmaps.

Data Synchronization
- Manage the synchronization, configuration, and release of complete dataset deliveries to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Collaboration and Networking
- Build and maintain relationships across the organization, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a role model, contributing to lifelong learning as a master trainer, coach, or mentor.
Required Qualifications

Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in performance and calibration engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Skills
- Strong technical proficiency in selecting hardware components and calibrating embedded software datasets.
- Solid understanding of engine systems, drivelines, and vehicle functions.
- Proficiency in synchronization and configuration management tools.

Attributes
- A T-shaped profile with broad-based expertise and definable specialist knowledge.
- Proven ability to influence across networks and drive complex group tasks or projects.
- Clear articulation of value creation beyond individual contributions to the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced education in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative engineering solutions in performance and calibration.
