Job Title: TM – Core Project Job Code: XXXXXX Designation: MGR / Sr MGR – Core Project Band: M1 Function: Technology Sub-Function: Circle Core Ops Reports To: VH – Cluster Core Head No. of Direct Reportee 0 Location Type: Circle- MTX No. of Direct + Indirect Reportee 0 Job Purpose Responsible for end to end driving of all core projects which includes new node deployments, expansions, cloud modernization, Upgrades. Person is also responsible for all core material movement, core inventory management in coordination with central planning, project and SNOC. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & governance Own end-to-end life cycle of all core projects Drive site survey with proactive identification of requirement and challenges Work with planning and infra team to ensure infra approval, site readiness well before material delivery Coordination with SCM and OEM for material delivery Ensure all documents like PID, HLD, LLD made available before start of project. Effective & Time bound Project delivery. Verify all installations and implementation happening as per CODE approved architecture. Ensure quality installation and labelling as per guidelines. Identify gaps and its corrections Drive proactive ecosystem readiness, Test set up arrangements including Test SIM, HS and sites Coordinate with planning, SNOC and central operation team for raising CR, impact analysis, scheduling, carry out pre / post testing, KPI analysis and deviation analysis in coordination with CR owner and CHM team Review daily / weekly progress of the project, identify blockers and work towards its solution / suggest alternate solutions, highlight concerns Coordinate and participate for/in RA, Function UAT and redundancy testing. Coordinate for dry run, go-live along with post go-live KPI monitoring. Punch point tracking till timebound resolution Core Material Movement and Inventory Management Issue BPA, PR/PO, MRN, GRN, STP using ERP tools like SAP Cross functional and cross circle coordination for material movement Ensure safety of material Track Open PO and its closure, WH inventory and its deployment plan Technical/ Functional Competencies Voice, PS and IPCPE Core Basic understanding • IMS • MAP, ISUP, BICC, SIP, SCCP, Diameter, Signaling • Voice & DATA Call Flows • MSS/MGW/POI SBC/STP/DRA/UDR configuration and operation • Cloud (VNF/CNF) • IP/MPLS • Linux • KPI Analytics • PGW • MME • PCRF • FW and netting solutions 5G NSA, IMS and VONR, Automation & AI-enabled Operations understanding is added advantage Multi-Vendor Core Platforms exposure like Nokia, Ericsson, Oracle STP/DRA, Huawei / ZTE, CISCO, Mavenir PMP certificates (not mandatory) but preferable Behavioral & Leadership Competencies • People and Vendor management • Proactive Thinking • Learning agility • Problem Solving • Out of Box thinking • Go Digital •Communication & Collaboration Qualifications & Experience Minimum Education Qualification B.E./B.Tech – Electronics and Telecommunications Years of working experience Minimum 2 to 5 years total, Minimum of 1+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience within the installation, commission and integration of new nodes Working Relationship Internal Stakeholders SNOC / CODE / Security teams COG & Corp Project teams Other Technology vertical in the circle Circle Finance, RA, SCM & IT Team External Stakeholders OEM vendors — Ericsson, Nokia, Oracle, Huawei/ZTE etc. SI partners - Precision Vodafone Idea Limited (formerly Idea Cellular Limited) An Aditya Birla Group & Vodafone partnership
