Import Export Compliance Specialist

Job Descriptions Requirements : Minimum S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering major GPA minimum 2,75 Minimum 5 years experience in Import Export Heavy Equipment / Construction Machinery / Mining Equipment / Industrial Machinery Responsibilities: Interpret and determine HS Code accurately in accordance with KUMHS & GRI; provide HS Code support to branches for new products and items. Support and accompany customs audits, particularly HS Code discussions; provide technical and regulatory explanations. Handle customs disputes related to HS Code differences, including keberatan and banding at Tax Court; prepare technical and regulatory justifications. Monitor, analyze, and disseminate new and updated import–export regulations; ensure organizational compliance. Conduct vetting of parts/items subject to Larangan dan/atau Pembatasan (Lartas) import; assess licensing and permit requirements. Manage open/close import flow based on quota availability, licensing status, and regulatory constraints to mitigate compliance risk. Drive development and enhancement of automatic HS Code classification systems (e.g. HS automation / AIME), including logic, validation, and governance. Act as subject‑matter expert for IMEX compliance; coordinate with branches, internal teams, customs brokers, and authorities; maintain audit‑ready documentation.
