EHS & S - SR MGR DDN CHINA REGIONAL

Job Overview For overseeing environment, health, and safety compliance and excellence for DDN facilities and operations in China. Job Requirements - Drive environment, health, and safety improvement based on DDN EHS strategy and targets in China. - Review and update DDN rules regularly. Follow up moving of TE Corporate and IS Seg health & safety rules & standards, timely communicate with DDN EHS network. Be an expert for the rules and standards to explain in detail when needed by DDN colleagues. - Regularly interface, coach, and influence site EHS teams and Site Operations Management to drive EHS excellence. - Evaluate and adjust EHS staffing in respective China facilities. - Find improvement opportunities for environment, health & safety, launch programs/projects and follow up effective execution of the programs/projects. - Liaison with EHS assurance team of IS Seg & TE Corporate, prepare schedule of SAFE audit. Follow up actions against all findings of the audit to ensure on time closure and effectiveness of the actions for applicable facilities. - Collect, share and promote best practices of health & safety within DDN. - Utilize EHS Software management for applicable DDN facilities. What your background should look like Bachelor’s degree of electric/electronic/mechanical/chemical engineering, EHS, Public Health, or other similar technical degree At least 15 Years of work experience on Health & Safety, 10 years managerial position for a region, 3 years work experience for global. Risk assessment for electronic/mechanical industries EHS Audit skill for different countries Certified safety professionals like CSE, CSP, CIH, etc. Environment & Sustainability knowledge & work experience is a plus Fluency in Chinese and English is required.
