Join our Team About this opportunity : We are seeking a Packet Core & Cloud Infrastructure Expert to design, deploy, and operate telecom packet core systems on virtualized and cloud-native infrastructures. You will bridge telecom core network expertise with cloud platform operations, ensuring resilient, scalable, and high-performing environments for 4G and 5G services. What you will do: Design and manage cloud infrastructure supporting packet core systems Deploy and support virtualized and cloud-native network functions on OpenStack and Kubernetes Oversee infrastructure lifecycle: installation, upgrades, patching, and scaling Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization Lead troubleshooting across network, compute, storage, and virtualization layers Support integration of core network nodes Drive automation through DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code Monitor systems using industry standard tools Ensure security, hardening, and compliance standards Collaborate with vendors, radio access network, transport, and IT teams Manage incidents, root cause analysis, and escalations The skill you bring: Deep knowledge of cellular network core architectures and signaling protocols Hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes environments Strong expertise in cloud compute, storage, and networking Proven troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers Experience in 24/7 production-critical environments Expertise in high availability design and disaster recovery Security hardening and compliance knowledge Strong leadership and team collaboration skills Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 6+ years in telecom core networks and cloud infrastructure Proficiency with OpenStack and/or Kubernetes Preferred: Cloud or container orchestration certifications Ericsson telco cloud platform experience 5G deployment exposure Large-scale production environment experience Why join Ericsson?
