OSP Quality Control Engineer

Job Description: Perform comprehensive quality reviews of all OSP engineering design packages, including fiber overbuild, FTTH, and BAU work orders, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with client standards ​ Review and validate F1/F2 fiber routing, splitter placements, terminal and splice point locations, and overall FTTH network architecture ​ Verify aerial, underground, and buried cable designs have been analyzed for cost-effective solutions and proper placement per client scope of work ​ Identify design deficiencies that could impact network buildout and provide clear, constructive feedback to responsible design engineers via QC checklists ​ Validate field-collected data, KMZ files, photos, and route alignments for accuracy and completeness prior to client submission ​ Ensure Corning FlexNap cable designs, terminal placements, and cable count distribution standards meet client requirements ​ Support first-time acceptance (FTA) metrics by ensuring designs meet all client quality control benchmarks before delivery ​ Maintain documentation standards and support continuous improvement of QC processes across the offshore engineering team Qualifcations: Must have at least 1 - 2 years of OSP engineering/QC experience Has proficiency in FTTH architecture & fiber design standards Must be a graduate (or have an equivalent certification) with a BS in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field ​
