Apply your expertise within the Maternal Fetal Medicine department, focusing on identifying families at risk for genetic disorders, birth defects, or a variety of other inherited conditions. Be instrumental in assisting with the diagnosis of genetic problems and collaboratively developing personalized, short and long-term counseling plans that guide families through their care journey. Provide comprehensive genetic counseling services, coordinate specialized screening programs, assist with the diagnosis of genetic problems and collaboratively develop personalized, long-term counseling plans. Apply your expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine to identify and assess families at risk for genetic disorders and birth defects. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Counselor specializing in Genetics credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
