Formulation Advisor - IO & EV

Activities: · Manage IO & EV formulations/ WBF to ensure raw material integrity and accuracy in quality control. · Draft work instructions (WI) to define the workflow and document transition process for formulation. · Develop enterprise standards for IO & EV products in collaboration with QC teams. · Develop EV fluids tailored for Chinese customers through collaboration with the TLC affiliate Innovation Lab and Sales, and headquarter product managers and OneTech. · Develop competitive IO products and provide solutions for special industrial segments. · Assess the feasibility of formula optimization and initiate operations by engaging key stakeholders. · Engage suppliers and external labs for technical development and specialized testing. · Participate in the product marketing planning process and provide technical insights and recommendations. · Provide technical data to support the creation of selling points, contractual agreements, training materials, and business development initiatives. · Coordinate sample preparation and pilot production for business needs. · Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage slow-moving stock and additive shortages. · Provide internal support from a formulation perspective and contribute to the implementation of product projects. · Investigate customer complaints related to product performance and implement corrective improvements. Complete other jobs or projects assigned by line manager. Qualifications: · Bachelor degree or above. Major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. · 5+ years of working experience in related experience, Min 3 years experience in lubricants’ development. · Fluent communication in English & Chinese Mandarin. · Technical background, with good knowledge in lubricant products, formula development and raw material components. Well-trained in lubricants test method and performance simulation. Understanding of Chinese lubricant market. Knowing the lubricants application. · Team-work spirit and good communication skill. Strong data analysis skill. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight timelines. · Familiarity with SAP operation, ISO/IATF quality system, lubricant standards and chemical regulations.
