About The Role
Our BRLA team provides a mix of different transaction and strategic advice to our clients contemplating special deals and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, including but not limited to financial advisory, consulting services, negotiation support, valuation, value creation, fund-raising, buy-side and sell-side initiatives, project management, debt advisory, business recovery and litigation restructuring advisory for both multinational and notional / domestic companies. We are part of the team of almost a hundred specialists strategically located across six cities in China and Hong Kong. About Business Restructuring and Lead Advisory (BRLA) In assuming the role of lead BRLA financial advisors, we provides the following key value added services: Deal origination and evaluation; Identifications of potential targets/ investors; Provide deal structural advice; Valuation / valuation creation advisory; Negotiation support; Consulting services to public and private sectors; Regulatory/compliance matters advisory; and Project management. Job Description & Responsibilities In support of BRLA’s expansion plans, we are looking for an ambitious Manager. It is expected that the suitable candidate will be able to originate, manage, and execute of transactions and to provide support in supervising and developing junior members. Specific responsibilities include:- Provide support to the partners and his team in business development, business origination and project-manage M&A transactions independently; Prepare pitch documents such as proposals, teasers and information memoranda; Provide consultation support to internal/external stakeholders by offering timely, practical, and well-reasoned advice on relevant matters. Employs network of internal and external (cross department / functional) contacts to enhance firm connectivity, performance and profitability. Facilitate and supervise the conduct of market research; Compile financial models and provide valuation analysis; Work in conjunction with various professional advisors, including lawyers, to facilitate the preparation of Transaction Documents, such as Letters of Intent, terms sheets and Sale and Purchase Agreements etc; Perform high-level financial analyses on client companies; Participate in meetings among clients, counterparts and various professionals and provide support to the client in the negotiations; Take responsibility for the quality of the team’s work products and addressing the needs of the client, the Firm and other stakeholders including compliance; Provide training and guidance to junior staffs as necessary. Requirements Minimum three - five years relevant experience for Manager, preferably with exposure to transactions / valuation/ corporate finance departments of accounting firms, PE firms, banks, or large corporations. Relevant experiences in public and private consulting sector is an advantage A degree in economics/accounting/business/finance with professional qualifications in Accounting/ Finance (such as CPA or CFA etc). MBA degree is a definite advantage Knowledge of the Hong Kong/ China capital market and exposure on government projects is an advantage Good analytical, problem solving and presentation skills Self-motivated and able to work under pressure Willing to travel is a must Proficient in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
