About Fulfillment IQ (FIQ)

Fulfillment IQ is a supply chain engineering and transformation company that helps brands, retailers, and 3PLs design, build, and scale high-performance logistics operations.

We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology where we solve complex, real-world problems across warehouse design, automation, order management, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain execution.

Our teams combine deep domain expertise with strong technical capability, delivering outcomes through consulting, systems implementation, and proprietary platforms that accelerate time-to-value and reduce delivery risk.

Role Overview

Most of the customization capability within our client's Manhattan Scale WMS environment runs through stored procedures rather than the base application, so this role needs real strength in both .NET and Microsoft SQL Server store procedure development. This person will build custom functionality, exit points, integrations, reports, and screen orchestration to support a growing, increasingly complex client account as their business scales.

Mandate

  • Build custom Manhattan Scale (WMS) functionality through strong .NET development
  • Own the SQL/stored-procedure layer, since most Scale customization happens through stored procedures rather than the base application
  • Develop Host and MHE integrations
  • Create innovative reports and screen orchestration on top of Scale using SQL

Must Have

  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including writing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and query optimization
  • Strong, hands-on .NET development skills
  • Ability to design and develop host and MHE interfaces
  • Ability to build custom reports and screen orchestration using SQL
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Experience working in production support environments
  • Ability to work offshore with some overlap with US Eastern time zone hours as needed

Nice to Have: Prior Manhattan Scale customization experience; Oracle stored procedure background (a related, transferable skill set)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom .NET code and complex SQL/stored procedures within Manhattan Scale
  • Build custom reports and screen orchestration using SQL
  • Develop host and MHE interfaces
  • Collaborate with the broader Scale delivery team on customization requests
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
  • Optimize database performance and application efficiency
  • Create technical design and support documentation
  • Support integration and interface development initiatives

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

30 Days In

  • Ramp up on Manhattan Scale architecture and the client's existing customizations

60 Days

  • Deliver the first custom stored procedure, report, or orchestration piece independently

90 Days

  • Independently own custom development requests for the account with minimal oversight

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of custom development requests delivered independently vs. requiring escalation
  • Defect/rework rate on delivered customizations
  • Turnaround time from request to delivery
  • Production support response time and resolution rate
  • Query/database performance improvement on optimization work
