Position Overview The Team Lead – US Audit is responsible for managing audit engagements across diverse industries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and auditing standards, and delivering high-quality work. This role involves direct client interaction, team leadership, and strategic responsibilities, including managing attrition and identifying farming opportunities to grow client relationships. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technical Skills Strong knowledge of US GAAP, auditing standards, and methodologies. Expertise in audit procedures for industries such as Commercial, Real Estate, EBP 401k, Yellow Book, and NFP. Ability to resolve complex accounting issues and handle specialized assignments. Proficiency in audit tools and documentation platforms. Leadership & Management Skills Proven experience in team handling and supervising multiple engagements. Excellent project management and resource allocation skills. Ability to manage team attrition and foster a positive work environment. Skilled in training and mentoring team members for professional growth. Client Relationship & Business Development Skills Strong communication skills for direct client interaction (emails and calls). Ability to develop new client relationships and enhance existing ones . Expertise in identifying farming opportunities to expand service offerings. Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building trust. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills High attention to detail and accuracy in audit processes. Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Strong decision-making skills under tight deadlines. Strong technical and interpersonal skills Should have good English communication skills - Verbal and written Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S GAAS and IFRS standards.
