Senior Executive - New Projects and Technologies

Group Company: Galaxy Surfactants Limited (GSL) Designation: Sr Executive Office Location: Jhagadia Primary Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of civil construction activities including foundations, RCC structures, structural steel supports, buildings, roads, drains, and underground utilities. Experience in project planning, execution, contractor management, and site supervision. Ability to review civil drawings, BOQs, specifications, and construction methodologies. Proficiency in quantity estimation, billing verification, and cost control. Working knowledge of relevant IS codes, construction quality standards, and HSE requirements. Experience in coordinating with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process teams for project execution. Ability to monitor project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of activities. Strong understanding of quality control procedures, material inspection, and testing requirements.. Capable of managing multiple contractors and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project objectives. Ensure compliance with all site safety standards, statutory regulations, and company HSE policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of civil construction activities, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions and practices. Ensure contractors and workers follow safe work procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE compliance. Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, working at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, confined space entry, and concrete pouring works. Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Toolbox Talks before commencement of critical activities. Support achievement of project goals with a Zero Harm, Zero Accident approach while ensuring safe and timely execution of civil works. E ducational qualifications preferred: Civil Engineering Required work experience: 7–10 years Required Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Project software Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Experience in commissioning support and project handover documentation will be an added advantage.
