About The Role
Key Responsibilities : Manage and oversee product costing activities to ensure accurate product cost calculations. Calculate and maintain inventory unit costs , including landed cost allocation for imported and locally sourced inventory. Ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation using appropriate costing methodologies. Perform and monitor Inventory Reconciliation on a regular basis. Manage and reconcile Deposits and GR/NI (Goods Receipt/Not Invoiced) balances. Investigate and resolve inventory and costing discrepancies. Collaborate closely with the Accounting, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy. Drive continuous improvements in costing, inventory management, and financial reporting processes. Support management in decision-making by preparing accurate costing analyses, inventory reports, and financial insights. Assist in system enhancement initiatives, process improvements, and ERP implementation related to costing and inventory management. Lead and support the team to ensure timely completion of daily operations, month-end closing, reconciliations, and audit requirements. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager. Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Min 3 years experience as a Accounting Inventory, Costing Specialist, or Costing Lead . Strong hands-on experience in: Product Costing Inventory Unit Price Calculation Landed Cost Calculation and Allocation Inventory Reconciliation Deposit & Goods recipt Reconciliation Solid understanding of inventory accounting, inventory valuation, and costing principles. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
