About The Role
JOB PURPOSE The primary responsibility of the Sr. Specialist, OEM Program Management, is to support the PM team to manage the planning, development, validation and supply chain of Genuine Accessories within a defined timeframe with a focus on managing timeline activities to assure on-time launch of new accessory projects and initiatives under upper manager's direction. The Sr. Specialist, OEM Program Management, will also support facilitating KPI reporting of model-based revenue, profit, fill rates and lifecycle management with support from team members aligning with the relative department. Keys to success will be effective support for project management, inter department communications and solid professional interpersonal skills. As a highly motivated and passionate individual the Sr. Specialist, OEM Program Management, will focus on the support for multi-department deliverables, tracking tasks and follow up progress to ensure the achievement of division objectives. Interfacing with multiple teams and stakeholders individually or through regular meetings to coordinate status reports, identify critical open issues and raise awareness of any potential issues that may hinder 100% on-time launch of new accessory projects. Expected risk factors that cannot be addressed alone should be made known to managers and stakeholders so that they can work together to develop a plan. Sr. Specialist, OEM Program Management will work directly or cross functionally with internal teams and coordinate with OEM Liaisons to create solutions to solve challenges and enhance the ability of the company to achieve business goals. This individual will also have the opportunity to support building refining all new project management processes to drive solutions for tracking, monitoring and transparency. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Support to manage and track multiple accessory portfolios and projects at the same time in fast paced environment\ Support to manage projects in accordance with company policies, procedures and on time. Work in team environment and individually to ensure successful product lifecycle from planning, development, validation, launch, sell through and sell down Support to measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Support to develop, maintain, and manage detailed reports to track monitor progress, follow up with key teams/individuals to achieve assigned deliverables and determine risk for stakeholders under manager's conducting Support to refine project management processes to improve internal monitoring, tracking, and risk avoidance Interface with multiple departments and teams to identify, communicate, monitor, and report deliverable status to ensure overall projects are completed and delivered on-time Continually update timeline adjustments, activities, risks, open issues and distribute to stakeholders Chair project review meetings to identify, highlight and escalate issues that require resolution Work closely with designated account liaisons to coordinate expectations and build consensus to achieve on-time launch objectives Clearly communicate project status including critical path analysis and potential roadblocks to executive leadership through regular meetings and reports Escalate issues to an appropriate management team when necessary to maintain project schedules to meet objectives Should be able to handle various project management software well (, PMS etc.) KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Support for project gate management and achievement of task deliverables to launch accessory projects on-time to achieve sales and profit objectives 40% Cultivate and lead program review meetings, highlight issues, drive solutions and communicate clearly to all stakeholders 20% Develop tracking progress monitoring reports, publish executive level reports with project roll ups while refining the project management process 20% Assist in special projects/ADHOC in a timely and professional manner as assigned by management. 10% Understand and improve the entire process of product development and develop standard processes for unclear processes. 10% WORK SCHEDULE/TRAVEL 8:00AM - 5:00PM Occasional overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air.
